We have been pleased to hear some great feedback from clients on how they have been using V-Wrap to help them manage client expectations, and even improve portfolio performance, during the current market volatility.
Although you can't control the market movements, you can have some control over the costs that drag down your client's portfolio performance. At only $220 (incl. GST) per portfolio, V-Wrap could represent substantial cost savings to your client when compared to other administration platforms.
The tax management capabilities are also crucial during volatile markets, enabling you to assess the impact of alternative strategies.
Some of our clients have also told us that the search functionality has been invaluable in identifying which clients hold certain securities; enabling them to pro-actively contact clients following market news announcements.
We look forward to helping you even more as the end of financial year draws ever nearer!
As you may know from experience, administering options can be a complex process. To help you ensure you are administering put and call options in the optimal way, Scott Jackson will provide a detailed demonstration of the options administration capability in V-Wrap.

If you find that the cash book matching process is not matching all of your transactions, it may be because this process will only match unconfirmed Deposit and Withdrawal transaction types. Any other transaction types, such as Income, Stock Purchase, Interest Receipt etc, or confirmed transactions will not be matched.
To rectify this, you have two options:
You can change the transaction types to Deposit and Withdrawal before you confirm the transaction and recalculate the portfolio. This will then allow these transactions to be matched and the transaction types will update accordingly.
Alternatively, you can change the transaction type manually after the transaction has been confirmed.
To change the transaction type, you simply click the Edit Button and then enter the new transaction type.
